This week in Greek tech, Uni.Fund and VentureFriends continue their mission to support innovative startups, leading investment of €1 million each in Lastmily and Merx, respectively. Meanwhile, Dott has launched its micromobility services in Athens, becoming the sixth startup in the sector.

Funding and Startup Opportunities

  • The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has announced the "Fast Track Innovation" call for proposals, offering a total budget of €2,000,000, with funding of up to €200,000 per project for businesses developing innovative products and services, provided they meet key eligibility criteria, including a minimum annual turnover of €200,000, at least 4 employees, and innovative products or services in the testing or pilot phase.

    Proposals must be submitted by April 30.

  • Apply to be part of The Mastercard Fintech Forum 2025 this May 6 in Athens, bringing together fintech leaders, investors, and innovators. Apply by March 23.

  • Join BioSTART, a new flagship program launched by BioInnovation Greece, designed to accelerate biotech entrepreneurship with early-stage support and funding opportunities.
