Deal Flow
Dealops and Rillet, startups founded by Greek entrepreneurs Spyri Karasavva and Stelios Modes abroad, secured major funding rounds - $7M led by Pear VC and General Catalyst for Dealops, and a $70M Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz and ICONIQ for Rillet.
Plus Marathon Venture Capital Fund III accounts for 75% of all VC funding in Southern Europe in H1 2025.

Rillet raised a $70M Series B for its AI-native ERP that automates accounting and speeds book closing, led by Andreessen Horowitz and ICONIQ.
Dealops raised $7M to build pricing and quoting infrastructure for revenue teams at leading AI and enterprise software companies.
Only €100M in venture capital was raised in Southern Europe in H1 2025, with Marathon Venture Capital Fund III accounting for the largest close - €75M to back early-stage B2B startups.
Palabra.ai, a VentureFriends portfolio company, closed an oversubscribed $8.4M pre-seed round to develop real-time speech translation with human-level accuracy, sub-1s latency, and native-quality voices.
