The evening was filled with enthusiasm as the 11 outstanding startups pitched their innovative solutions. The quality of the founders made selecting the top three a real challenge, but in the end Grandmama, Southeastern Europe’s leading Caretech platform, took first place and will proudly represent the Greek ecosystem in San Francisco this October.

Grandmama is transforming the fragmented and costly home healthcare market, with over 11,500 caregivers already on its platform and plans to expand globally, starting with India in Q3 2025.

This win isn’t just a milestone for Grandmama, it is a proof that homegrown solutions from Greece can scale globally, tackle real societal problems, and compete on the world stage.

As the organizers, Artem Rodichev and Panis Pieri expressed beautifully:

Creating an event that is valuable for startups and enjoyable for guests means connecting many pieces. This time everything came together: media partners spread the word, SuiHub provided a top-notch venue, 11 startups shared their ideas, the jury asked tough but supportive questions, and the audience filled the room with energy for three hours.

A sincere thanks to the distinguished judges: Myrto Papathanou, Partner at Metavallon VC and Kauffman Fellow, Nikos Antoniou, Founding Partner at Apeiron Ventures, Volodymyr Zhukov, Venture Partner at Network VC, Andreas Klapsis, Curator of Startup Greece Week 2025, and Alex Lubnevskiy, Ambassador at Pegasus Tech Ventures.

Congratulations to all the participating startups, as they each demonstrated talent, creativity, and perseverance. It was an inspiring display that reflects how much the Greek ecosystem has matured.

Special shoutout to George Karantonis, Partner at Metavallon, for his generous support in making this event possible, George Kourkoutas, Editor in Chief at startuppergr and all the supporters.
