Athens Tech Circle x Point124

Located within one of Athens most iconic 20-floor buildings along Leoforos Kifisias, Point124 Co-working Space stands as a symbol of creativity and modern design. The building, constructed during the “free construction” era, has long been a landmark for those traveling through the city and even hosted the Athens Exhibition Center in the 1980s and 1990s. It also features an underground car park with approximately 500 spaces, offering convenience alongside its architectural charm.

When I first moved to Athens for study at ALBA Graduate Business School, my daily commute along Kifisias Avenue was marked by this very building. It became a quiet reminder that I was close to my destination. Four years later, during another drive down the same avenue, I noticed the Point124 Co-working sign. Out of curiosity, I looked it up and two things caught my attention immediately: the building, which I already admired, and it did not take long to realize that “124” on the name simply referred to the building’s address, 124 Kifisias Avenue.

During this time, Athens Tech Circle had just launched and one of the essential pieces of the puzzle was a to find a home for the community - a physical space where founders, innovators, and ecosystem partners could connect in person. For some reason, Point124 space felt like a perfect match even before I got to see the inside. By the summer of 2025, we started the conversation for collaboration and for the first-time, I had the opportunity to visit the space which is located on the mezzanine floor, and it exceeded every expectation.

Point124 is more than just a co-working or event space. It is a thoughtfully designed environment created for entrepreneurs, innovators, and forward thinkers. From the warm common area at the entrance, perfect for coffee and casual conversation, to the meeting rooms named after cities across Africa, Asia, and South America, every detail reflects a global spirit of collaboration and creativity.
